After studying art and music I graduated with a thesis on musical theatre direction at the Milan University of Studies. I attended a course in film direction and I began working in the production departments of major italian movie productions. In those years I shot my first shorts. It dates back to 2002, the first of a long series of collaborations as assistant director in opera productions in prestigious national and international festivals and opera houses. In recent years I held the position of director substitute and stage manager in Italy, Spain and Centre of America. My debut as an opera director was in 2006 at the Theatre delle Erbe in Milan with the "Così fan tutte" by W. A. Mozart. In 2009, at the Piccolo Theatre Studio in Milan I directed "Ferrovia Soprelevata" by Dino Buzzati and Luciano Chailly, an italian experimental musical comedy from the 60s. The following year I worked on "Poème électronique" by Edgard Varèse and Le Corbusier, devising, in collaboration with Walter Prati, the multimedia event "Music is all around you". In the 2013 summer I have been a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab in New York City. In December 2013 I have been invited at the Bolshoi Drama Theatre Directors Lab in St. Petersburg, directing a part of The Idiot by F. Dostoievsky with russian actors. I am currently working to develop an independent movie project whom I personally conceived and curated the subject and wrote the script. In 2014 I have been tutor at the Marangoni Institute of Fashion and Design in Milan teaching Culture of music and cinema. In 2015 I moved to New York City for develop contemporary theatre projects. I like discover new and old plays, opera and musicals trying to create particular events. If you want define my style you could say maybe surrealistic. I like the image. I like moving pictures. I like combine music and movement.
