Christian Rozier is the director of the 2021 feature film Apache Leap, produced in collaboration with the community of San Carlos Apache Tribal Reservation. Apache Leap premiered at the 2021 Portland Film Festival and is currently screening at festivals around the world throughout 2022.
Christian began his career as a music video and commercial director, producing broadcast videos for politically engaged artists locally and internationally. His transition into documentaries began with Among the Trees, a broadcast music doc that follows the seminal hip-hop group Arrested Development during a reunion tour in Asia. His documentary shorts Racing The Past (2018) and When the Rabbit Got The Gun (2020) have screened at dozens of festivals.
