About Tristan

My name is Tristan Griffin. I was born in Rome, GA and moved up to New York City last September. I've done a lot of video work and editing at the Upright Citizens Brigade and New York Friars Club. I currently serve as an assistant to comedy writer Jeffrey Gurian who runs his online show Comedy Matters.

My main goal is acting. I've done several short films and served as an extra on HBO's "How to Make it in America." My greatest accomplishment is being a writer and performer with a new NYC Sketch Group called The Charlies. We have recently won the 2011 Arena Sketch League Tournament at the Creek and the Cave in Long Island City and we'll be performing at Webster Hall on Nov 6. I enjoy being in front of the camera, throwing out ideas, collaborating with people, but most importantly making people laugh.
