Anne graduated with honours from York University in Ensemble Performance and Direction. Her directing highlights include Baby Redboots’ Revenge (Baby Monster), Brother Andre’s Heart (Toronto Fringe 2011), Desperate Housepets, Harris Superman,Wickedly Wonderful, CHALLENGER (NovaStage). Anne was assistant director to Daniel MacIvor on his play Communion at Tarragon Theatre, and produced the Toronto performances of Linda Griffiths’ Last Dog of War. Anne’s own play The Last Lunch was performed at the Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts, and Imagination Square in Cambridge, Ontario. As an actor, Anne has appeared in numerous theatre projects, including Medusa in Medusa/Medea (NovaStage), Vladimir in Waiting for Godot (Studio 142), Lady Macbeth (SPT), Mac in Three Viewings, Tom/Phyllis/Leslie in Sylvia (GLT), and Capulet in Romeo and Juliet with the Stratford Festival’s “Shakespeare on Wheels”. Most recently she appeared as Mona in Mona Rogers in Person at the San Diego Fringe Festival 2013. In 2007 Anne received the Bernice Adams Award for Direction for her work on Harris Superman.
