Hi Rich, thanks for the connect. R U in San Rafael now?
Hey Rich, I'm the CTO and lead developer at Stage32.com. Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback about the site. I'd love to hear your comments!
How do I link to ImbdPro and to my website? Thanks
Looking for someone to work with in a screenplay I have been developing over the past year, based on true events, and much research has been done. Preferably someone who has exceptional character development skills as well as someone who can write crisp dialogue. Can't give too much info out here but if interested please reach out to me. Joe, Sounds interesting. I've been told I'm pretty good screenwriter, and right now I'm between projects. I live in Oakland, CA.
Hey Joe, I'm based in Chico, message me if you want to chat about script.

You're better off writing it yourself and then getting some professional help to make it better. By hiring or bringing on another amateur writer that you don't even know, you're just asking for trouble. And you get what you pay for.
I agree with every word. While it is discouraging to hear (for the beginning screenwriter trying to break in) that pros don't want to read your script, I understand why they won't do it. Maybe something as simple as, "I know how important this to you, but I decided long ago on a policy of not reading scripts from personal friends.and acquaintances. So I'm sorry, I can't do what you are asking, but I wish you the best of luck."

He said he usually explains it in that he has so many to read for work, he doesn't have time. It was just this particular two-page synopsis that caused issues. I don't know him personally, so he might have anger issues, I don't know. But this blog didn't really seem angry to me.
I agree! Wholeheartedly... If a writer is a writer, he/she has to write! It's what they do. No matter if its poetry, music, recreation, or professionally. It's a way to express. Not too many people can project their thoughts onto paper. I think no one can discourage that out of a true writer
I too am interested. When do you plan to start shooting?
Thanks for adding me to your network.
Rich, My SC membership ends next month (I believe) and now I have loaded up videos and photos on Stage32. What are your plans. Anyone you know making a movie? Jim
Hi Jim, I have nothing in the works right now, but I think there are several people on this site looking for actors.

Looking for a filmmaker who would like to take the opportunity to make a documentary of the process--said documentary could be use for TV or other showings. Are you interested or do you know of someone who would be interested? Regards, Jim

Hi Peter. I'm in Oakland.
Peter. Your bio is quite impressive. I have been doing a lot of screenwriting, but no plaudits so far.
Thanks, Rich. But no sale so far. . . Keep at your writing. They'll come.
