LOGLINE: Two fledgling actors, Rick and Lorraine, trying to make it in L.A. in the 80's. To make a living, one of the Rick's wealthy father buys a check cashing business which the son manages.

SYNOPSIS:

Rick hires his friend Lorraine, a beautiful singer/ actress, to work in the business until their "big break" occurs. They are both white, working in a business in primarily black part of town. Funny, heart-warming, smart comedy.
