Jane Applegate

I'm an experienced, bullet-proof producer of film, television and online content. I produce several online shows sponsored by Microsoft and Cox Communications--related to small business and entrepreneurship. Between corporate projects, I produce documentaries and features. "Brief Reunion," a thriller, opens in New York City and Los Angeles this week. I served as line producer on that. The film won several indie festival awards. In 2009, I wrote and produced "Much Ado in Mostar" a short doc about a theater camp for teenagers impacted by war in Bosnia. I've served as a writer, producer and supervising producer for cable programming airing on NBC, Discovery Health, ABC, Lifetime, CNBC and CNN.
I developed and served as national correspondent for Bloomberg Small Business.

I'm looking for a new project to produce in 2013, preferably a short narrative film, or a full-length feature. I've participated in the Sundance Producers' program and IFC's "No Borders" screenplay competition.
