Actor, Singer De’Rrel S Whitfield born in Toledo, Ohio on November 19, 1986, raised by his single teenage mother in Dayton, Ohio. As a child Derrel loved to role-play and make others laugh. As life began showing up for him, he began pursuing his acting career. De’Rrel Whitfield attended Jefferson Township Senior High in Dayton, Ohio where he was in numerous theatrical activities along with lettering in varsity football.
De’Rrel Whitfield is a current and faithful member of The Potter’s House- Dayton International Ministries located in Dayton, Ohio with Mark C. McGuire Sr. Presiding Bishop where he is very active in media ministry, and ministering through mime as well as being an armor bearer.
Since 2003, De’Rrel have been rigorously pursuing his acting career beginning with a gospel stage play titled “This Christmas” (2003), “When the Trumpet Sounds” (2008), “Singled Out” (2010),”Pleading My Case” (2010),“ Big Girl Blues”(2011), and “The Inconvenient Truth” (2011), “Life After Divorce”(2011), “Lord Help Me Believe in you Again” (2012). De’Rrel Whitfield is currently writing and producing his first stage play.
