Carlos Segundo

Nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Festival with the short SIDERAL (2021), Carlos Segundo is a director, photographer, screenwriter and editor. His other most
recent works are: the short DE VEZ EM QUANDO EU ARDO (2020) and the feature FENDAS (2019), both premiered at FID Marseille; and the shorts SUBCUTÂNEO (2018) and AINDA SANGRO POR DENTRO (2016), both premiered at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival. Professor of the Audiovisual at the Department of Social Communication at UFRN [Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte], Segundo holds a PhD in Multimedia from Unicamp (2016). Master in Psychoanalysis and Cinema at the Federal University of Uberlândia (2011), postgraduate in Philosophy of Art at IFITEG/UEG (2008). Coordinator and curator of festivals, exhibitions and workshops.
