Alivia Dixon

Alivia Dixon is a dedicated screenwriter driven by a deep commitment to cultivating community and providing representation through storytelling. Alivia was raised in sunny Phoenix, AZ and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Creative Media and Film at Northern Arizona University. Inspired by a desire to see more diverse voices and stories on screen, Alivia transitioned into screenwriting after experiencing a lack of community during her undergraduate career.

This personal journey fuels a passion for crafting narratives that serve as the embodiment of the experiences of those who often feel unseen. With a strong focus on intersectionality, Alivia aims to create stories that educate, humor, and touch the heart while also offering representation and building connections with viewers who find solace and understanding in stories that mirror their own lives.

When she isn't writing Alivia is often exploring independent bookstores, completing puzzles, or watching Bravo.
