Joshua Hogan is the Paint Representative on the I.A.T.S.E. Local 489 Studio Mechanics Board and he works as a scenic artist within the entertainment industry. Most recently, he has worked in the art department for productions such as; The Perks of Being a Wall Flower (feature film), The Avengers (feature film), Super Eight (feature ﬁlm), and One Shot (feature ﬁlm).
Hogan is also a contemporary, abstract painter. In addition to exhibiting his artwork regionally and nationally, he also teaches abstract painting at Touchstone Center for Crafts and provides artist outreach through The Working Artist lectures for art students at Slippery Rock University.
Hogan is co-owner of Box Heart Gallery and manager of logistics and installation for Mox Box Consulting. He has mounted various visual art exhibitions including; Urbanic 2: Catalyzing a Regional Economic Renaissance at the Pittsburgh International Airport for the Temporary Exhibit G20.
