About Mark
Recurring themes in Mark's writing are the duality of human nature, identity, family, friendship, and survival.
Most of Mark's feature screenplays are in the horror genre and he is looking to the sci-fi genre in order to augment his portfolio.
His 'The Devil's Circle' screenplay was part of the Blood List official selection for the British Horror Film Festival 2023.
His 'Clown Hallow' screenplay was part of the Blood List official selection for the British Horror Film Festival 2022; it received a special commendation.
His 'Blood Corn' screenplay was part of the Blood List official selection for the British Horror Film Festival 2020; it received an honourable mention.
His 'Maniac Milkman' screenplay was part of the Gold List official selection for the British Independent Film Festival 2020.
As a result of the exposure 'Maniac Milkman' received, Stuart Brennan (actor, writer, director, producer, and CEO of Stronghold) invited Mark to write a horror script based on an existing film treatment in the found footage genre... fingers crossed it will be filmed one day!
Mark currrently lives in the South of England, and has lived in Trinidad (West Indies), Florence (Italy), and Vienna (Austria).
