Kevin T. Hobbs

Kevin T. Hobbs is a dad, actor, writer, and Sundance Institute-trained filmmaker who grew up in Central Illinois. He knew he wanted to be an actor/ artist from the first time he saw Avery Brooks, David Bowie, and Prince. Originally pursuing music, Kevin ended up doing soundtrack work for independent films. While working on an indie project, Kevin was encouraged by acting legend Harry J. Lennix to pursue his desire to become an actor. Kevin has appeared on movie screens and stages across the country. As an actor, he’s been trained by the famed Ivana Chubbuck Studio (Los Angeles) and is an alumnus of the world-renowned, SITI Company (New York). Hobbs is also a former educator and teaching artist. He holds certifications in Social Emotional Learning and Mindfulness from Roosevelt University.
