CHRISTINE LYNNE is a writer-producer-manager who worked with legendary and prolific writer-producer Stephen J. Cannell for many years, including developing his TV series as feature films ~ THE A-TEAM, 21 JUMP STREET and THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO.
She left to pursue her own projects and produced a promo for a dating show. She is also packaging and will be producing an award-winning feature screenplay, THE LEGEND OF BUCKETMOUTH and a TV pilot script, ROBO^COW. She adapted the novel, GODDESS, by best-selling author Margaret Pemberton. Christine formed Goddess Productions when she started representing a select group of screenwriters to develop some of their projects and get them into the marketplace, as well as optioning several screenplays to package and produce.
Christine co-produced the Pulitzer Prize winning play GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS by David Mamet at The Macha Theatre for an extended run and all profits were donated to the USC Shoah Foundation Institute.
She worked a brief stint at ICM and before that, worked with producer-director Jeff Apple while he was developing IN THE LINE OF FIRE. She also worked with writer-producer Harvey Matofsky, who was packaging a project with Federico Fellini and Dustin Hoffman to make STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND.
Christine worked with Julie Newmar to help her edit and compile stories for a book project, as well as with several other authors. She is a contributing writer for the book ~ HAPPINESS AWAITS YOU ~ she wrote a story, FINDING HAPPINESS, published in April, 2010.
A native of Wisconsin, Christine ~ a.k.a. Xine ~ wrote a Q&A column for the Wisconsin Screenwriters Forum newsletter to support, encourage and inspire writers. She also volunteered and wrote stories for The Covenant House – a non-profit organization that rescues kids off the streets of Hollywood.
