Carlos Ransom Sr.

Carlos served as part of a film production crew with Dave Myers on DMX’s music video entitled “Party Up”. He has also worked for three major record labels to include Def Jam Music Group and Elektra Entertainment. A 17-year veteran of the broadcast industry; his career spans from his hometown of Milwaukee Wisconsin to North Louisiana. Carlos has worked for FOX, ABC and CBS affiliates in various positions along with a CNN internship as an associate producer. As a graduate of Grambling State University, he holds multiple degrees including a bachelor of arts in communication. Carlos is also an award nominated screenplay writer and published poet. He likes to read, play football and basketball. His favorite foods are Mexican, Oriental, and Italian. Carlos’ favorite movies are Scarface, Hot Tub Time Machine, The Hang Over and Training Day. He likes R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae and Rock music. Currently, he is looking to sell his movie scripts in hopes of breaking into the film industry as a writer/producer.
