A producer once read a manuscript of my horror novel, and suggested a major change. I thought about it, reworked the story, and that book took top honors in a competition and was optioned. I learned that if someone provides thoughtful incite, a writer should be thankful, not hurt. A few days ago, I received feedback, for my sitcom pitch, from Nick Oleksiw. The pitch had generated favorable feedback from others, but Nick's feedback pointed out a small detail, that should've been expanded upon, as without it, the pitch was generic. Suddenly, I saw what the story was missing! Without Nick's feedback, I never would've had that 'Eureka' moment. Thanks to Nick and Stage32, I can now send out a much improved pitch.
