About Sergio

Lima, Perú 1978. Graduated from the School of Communications at the University of Lima. Diploma in Screenplay and Direction of Documentary Film by the Madrid Film Institute (NIC). Screenplay studies at the School of Writers. Director of the documentary Internal Outskirts (2009), It's in your Eyes (2011), 9546 km. (2013), Our Own Sri Lanka (2015), Solari (2016) and Bread of Life (2016). All his films have received awards at international festivals and have been broadcast on TV in Spain, Italy and Brazil.

Currently he is carrying out the documentary project "Take a Walk" in advanced development. This film has participated in Meeting Doc Buenos Aires, Bolivia Lab, Talents Buenos Aires, Santiago Alvarez in Memoriam and in the Laboratory of FICBAQ Festival of Barranquilla.
