Hi, thanks for stopping by. My body of work consists of original features (broad comedy, primarily), shorts, and sketches written in the vein of classic comedy programs like “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In”. My background comes from my time in the NYC stand-up comedy scene, where I helped up-and-coming comics develop their acts. I also wrote and performed in various short films and sketches.
While developing my own material, I provide script coverage for production companies with projects in development or under consideration, help other writers market their own screenplays, and serve as a judge/evaluator for an international film festival’s screenwriting competition.
If you are interested in having a lookbook or onesheet created for your own script, please send me a message or check out my website www.stevecleary.com.
If you are interested in reading one of my screenplays or collaborating on a project, please reach out!
