About Tara

Greetings. My name is Tara DiPetrillo. I'm a makeup artist, originally from New York City and recently relocated to Los Angeles. I've had a wonderful run as a Makeup Artitst in the TV/Film industry in North Carolina, Virginia and Alabama with the opportunities to work on great projects: the recent box office hit that reached #1 movie in America – “War Room”; to, the hit television shows: “Homeland”, “The Bachelorette”, and a new film coming out this year called, “Coming Through the Rye”, starring Oscar Awarding winning actor, Chris Cooper (playing J.D. Salinger), Alex Wolff ("The Naked Brothers Band") and Stefania Owen ("The Carrie Diaries"), as well as, another film entitled “Jesse and Naomi”, starring Marilu Henner("Taxi"), Corbin Bernsen ("Psych"), Chelsey Crisp ("Fresh Off the Boat"), Joe Williamson (Grey's Anatomy") & Philip Boyd ("The Have and the Have Nots).

I have experience as a Makeup Department Head doing special FX makeup and am comfortable in all makeup related positions. I work on commercials, videos and print work as well. For those gigs I am able to do makeup combos with hair and wardrobe styling.

I started doing makeup as a teenager and broke into the film industry in 2011. I'm very humbled to say that I love what I do and it feels amazing to live my passions. I feel I bring a very positive vibe to set and look forward to creating something magical with you!

Disconnected from students and teachers, he believes he is destined to play Holden Caulfield, the main character of The Catcher in the Rye, and has adapted the book as a play. After a series of increasingly hostile altercations with the boys at school Jamie runs away to search for JD Salinger. On his way he picks up Deedee Gorlin, a quirky townie. Their odyssey to find Salinger becomes a journey of sexual awakening, the discovery of love and of the meaning of one's life.

Just Tom (2013)
Film by Peyton Lea (Comedy and Drama) Makeup Department Tom Lessard, a 30-year-old depressed watch salesman from Newark, NJ, is disappointed to learn that not only must he attend a three-day watch sales convention in Charlotte, NC, but he must do so with his rambunctious co-worker, Ralph. Miserable at the convention, Tom's luck turns around when he meets April, a bartender at the hotel lobby bar. She convinces him to leave the convention and they find themselves exploring Charlotte. The two spend the day in and out of museums, parks, and pubs. Aided by April's free spirit, Tom is able to take a closer look at himself and the choices he's made to get him where he is. The Factory Lesson (2012)
Film (short) (Sci-Fi) Makeup Department, Actress The year is 2135 A.D. or 2121 A.O. (after Obama). A 12 year student is almost heart broken at what she sees in this wasteland; a factory in ruins. Once a powerful machine that allowed Americans, as they were called, to flourish and prosper. But through the greed and egos of corrupt-bought and paid for "politicians", the government allowed businesses to have their goods and services produced in other countries. Thus the decline of American Manufacturing. The country fell into decline and imploded on itself. Millions were left unemployed, homeless and starved. No health insurance made sure that families from all parts of the country eventually moved to other countries or just gave up, got sick and all died off.
