Teng Ky-Gan is an award-winning librettist and playwright based in Kuala Lumpur. He is the only two-time recipient of the Kakiscript Award and has been nominated numerous times for the Cameronian Awards. To date, he has had 5 musicals and 5 plays staged, as well as 2 short films produced. His hit musical Broken Bridges is known affectionately by fans as 'Malaysia's Most Beloved Musical'. His new musical Bukit Merah opened in Singapore in 2015 and he is currently writing a feature screenplay under the guidance of Gordy Hoffman.
