Tyler Hickman is a multi-award winning writer, director and editor. He directed the feature-length film "Blood Island" on location in Belize at the age of 21.
In 2007, Slipping Away won "Outstanding Student Film" at the Scene First Film Festival in Wilmington, NC and "The Big Come Down" won "Best Cinematography" at One Take Film Festival in Wilmington, NC.
In 2014, Tyler won the "Videographer of the Year" award at the Forsyth Country Entertainment Awards.
In 2015, "Aftermath" was officially accepted into the International Online Web Fest wherein actor Tyler Cole received a nomination for Best Actor. This film was also officially accepted into the Southway International Film Fest, FilmSpark Film Festival, Blackbird Film Festival, and the IndieWise Film Festival.
In 2016, "Uncharted: Drake's Odyssey" was officially accepted into the Fanboy Film Festival.
In 2016, "LZ Lost" was officially accepted into the Riverrun International Film Festival.
In 2017, "Vessel" was officially accepted into the Fake Flesh Film Fest, NanoCon Mk. IV Film Festival, and was a Finalist in the IndustryBoost Film Competition.
In 2017, "4th Paradox" was officially accepted into The Asian Film Centre Film Festival, AM Egypt Film Festival, Fake Flesh Film Fest, and was a Semi-Finalist in the Caribbean Film Festival & Market & San Mauro Tourinese International Film Festival. The trailer for the film was a finalist at the Miami Epic Trailer Film Festival.
In 2018, Tyler won the "Videographer of the Year" award at the Forsyth Country Entertainment Awards.
