Since his entry in the production industry in 1993, Vassilis has explored its horizons in both the digital and traditional realm. From concept sketches to finalized audiovisual products, he is experienced from live TV broadcast support to feature films and from real time engine VR to dome theater.
With a scientific background in engineering, he also studied music for 3 years to obtain a better understanding of scoring in productions.
During his business career, he worked alongside successful entrepreneurs, communications specialists, directors, producers and BTL advertising teams, handling high profile presentations to multinational companies and global events. He also built theatrical brands for various media companies ran the web adaptations of popular films such as The Beach (2000) and X-Men (2000).
Since 2005 he has run teams & departments with his work appearing in more than 50 countries worldwide. Five Hermes Media Production Awards and twice Production Company of the Year are a testimony of his contribution. Between 2000 and 2010 he built the VFX infrastructure of 3 Greek studios, securing a highly productive environment combined with low cost and high viability.
In 2005, he began to hone his screenwriting skills with an initial US and then Canadian mentorship, which helped him build a very ambitious and highly viable franchise named Mortal Guard in the form of two (2) trilogies, plus TV series, RPG game and a vast number of derivatives. The project has been deemed highly viable with a multi-decade horizon worth of productions and revenues by accomplished film industry veterans in the US, Europe and Canada.

Film by Cinepos / Cinegram (Comedy) Lead 3D Artist Summer 1969. Dictatorship. In a small country town, young Achileas breaks his leg by falling off the yard wall of the local cinema. He wanted to see Brigit Bardo naked... However, during his visit to the city to treat his broken leg, for the first time in his life he sees a television! The program informs about the launching of Apollo to the moon. The idea of the launching becomes Achileas' obsession and along with his friends they collect money, in order to purchase a TV set. However, soon, the dilemma becomes imperative. Will they buy a television or "visit" all together Uranya in order to be taught the secrets of love? The situation gets even more complicated when the authorities arrest Achileas' father along with the father of a good friend in order to intimidate others: Spiros Agnew, who will visit Greece, intends to visit the small country town as well and so everything must show quiet and "friendly" to the regime... Achileas and his friends will not give up that easy... In order to buy the television of their dreams, they will accept to distribute Greek and American flags to the people of the town. Achileas' disappointment is immense, when he discovers that the money collected was stolen by his friends, for other, more "erotic" destinations. The unexpected arrival of a television Uranya in town by the "town's crazy man" will result in watching Apollo's launch in the café in a rather paradoxical way... whereas the local cinema will stay deserted.
