The production of safe vegetables is increasing day by day in Jessore. Jessore district has been recognized as the best in the country for safe vegetable production. Vegetables are being supplied to the domestic market by meeting the local demand. According to Jessore Agriculture Office sources, the Ministry of Agriculture has recognized Jessore district for its vegetable production at the recently concluded National Agriculture Fair in Dhaka

Jessore has become the first in vegetable production to have the highest average yield per hectare and to make a special contribution in meeting the demand for vegetables in the country. This year, the farmers of Hashimpur, Kodalia, Lebutala, Khajura, and Bandabila villages of the Lebutala union of Jessore Sadar Upazila have got great success in cultivating corolla. Farmers are happy to get good prices. Who here grows their own food? Students at Middletown High School do! I was introduced to their comprehensive #agriculture program and was asked to create a #video about the benefits of the program. Each student in the program is #dedicated and has a plan for the #future. Some go on to #college and some go right into the #workforce. Giving students #options when they graduate is a big responsibility for schools. Making sure they are #prepared for the #world when they leave is crucial. But what I found particularly #refreshing is the students are #excited about #school everyday, #collaborate with each other, promote #teamwork, and take #responsibility for themselves to accomplish the task at hand.
