The Stage 32 Videos: Renisha Marie

To Live or Die in LA is the second documentary I had the opportunity to Film, Direct, Produce and Edit. This documentary was filmed in 2017 and I had grown a lot since the filming of my first documentary. By this time, I was experimenting with color and key frames in Avid Media Composer. I was inspired to create this documentary because I love music and I always wanted to shoot and edit a music video. Therefore, a documentary about a music producer and his harsh realities living in Los Angeles, California was the perfect way for me to exercise cutting to the beat. In addition, I wanted to show people that despite what you’ve been through, greatness is your destiny as long as you don’t give up.
