Q: What is the format of a webinar?
A: Stage 32 Next Level Webinars are typically 90-minute educational broadcasts that take place online using a designated software program from Stage 32. Your webinar will be taught by a working industry professional with in-depth teaching on a topic. If you are able to attend live you will be able to ask your Stage 32 Educator questions during Q&A.
Q: What are the system requirements to watch my webinar live?
A: You will need to meet the following system requirements in order to run the webinar software: Windows 7 or later Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or later.
If you have Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.9 (Mountain Lion): The webinar software does not support these operating systems. If you are running one of those operating systems, please upgrade now in order to be able to view a live webinar. Upgrade your Windows computer / Upgrade your Mac computer.
Q: What if I cannot attend the live webinar?
A: If you cannot attend a live webinar or purchase an on demand webinar, you will have access to the entire recorded broadcast, including the Q&A.

Jason brings in Director of Development Rachel Crouch of Cold Iron Pictures, a production/financing company that most recently produced Being Frank starring comedian Jim Gaffigan and Anna Gunn. Previously Cold Iron produced Swiss Army Man starring Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano, as well as Marielle Heller’s directorial debut The Diary of a Teenage Girl starring Bel Powley, Kristen Wiig and Alexander Skarsgård, both of which premiered at Sundance. Previously Cold Iron releases also include Joseph Cedar’s political drama Norman starring Richard Gere which was released by Sony Pictures Classic, Don't Think Twice, and Lake Bell’s second film, I Do...Until I Don't.As a writer, Rachel has had articles published by The Mary Sue, TVGuide.com, EveryGeek.net, and co-founded the geek girl podcast and blog The Babes in the Woods. During this webcast, the Writers' Room welcomes special guest, Literary Manager Mike Diaz of The Coronel Group to critique members' pitches. The Coronel Group is a literary and talent management company based in LA that has a roster of A-List Actors, including Alan Tudyk (Disney Animated Films), Adan Gillen ("GAME OF THRONES"), and Robert Patrick (TERMINATOR -franchise). Mike focusses on project development for Coronel Group's screenwriters and directors through the literary division. Mike has over 10 years of experience representing Actors, writers, and Directors, and he had some excellent insights for those members who pitched. This month we heard pitches for television and features, including a Thriller, Drama, Coming-of-Age story, and more! And two members had their scripts requested by Mike after the session!

Sam gives excellent insights from the perspective of a working screenwriter who has worked in professional writing rooms with some of the industry's leading show runners and writers.
Jake Martin is the Head of Scripted Development for Happy Place, Inc. an internationally-recognized, full-service creative studio dedicated to best-in-class, bespoke content creation. The company began as a production company that produced projects for TAYLOR SWIFT, TRAVIS SCOTT, JENNIFER LOPEZ, JAY-Z, JUSTIN BIEBER and TYLER THE CREATOR. Jake is working to lead the company into the Film and TV space with scripted entertainment for Apple+, Amazon, Netflix, and more. Prior to his role at Happy Place, Jake has had a prolific career - working as the Creative Executive for Director James Gunn (GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Franchise), Guillermo del Toro, and as Pierre Morel’s creative executive during the filming of PEPPERMINT starring Jennifer Garner. He also served as the Director of Development for Sentient Pictures International, developing, packaging, and selling TV/Film including FREELANCE currently in post-production, directed by Pierre Morel and starring John Cena and Alison Brie.
