Jason Mirch is Stage 32's Director of Script Services and host of the Writers' Room. Outside of this role, he is a feature film, television, branded entertainment, and digital content producer and executive with over 15 years experience. Most recently, he produced a 3D animated feature film starring Jacob Tremblay, Christopher Lloyd, Mel Brooks, and Carol Kane.   Stefan Brunner is a partner in Los Angeles-based eightdoorsdown LLC, a boutique entertainment company that bridges Hollywood and Silicon Valley by offering consulting and producing services in the motion picture and television as well as distribution and technology space.eightdoorsdown’s current active production slate includes supernatural TV series INFINITY with Executive Producers Ethan Hawke and Kelsey Grammer; VOLTAGE, a global thriller series created by Kurt Wimmer; as well as thriller BLOOD FOR SALT, written by Erik Godal and Desmond Nakano; for all Stefan has been acting as producer or executive producing respectively on behalf of the company. Most recently, the company completed Jim Gillespie’s BILLIONAIRE RANSOM, a Pinewood Pictures production; and Lamberto Bava’s psychological thriller TWINS. Prior to moving to Los Angeles and as COO and CFO of Imagenation Abu Dhabi, Stefan oversaw the organization and strategic development of the Abu Dhabi government’s film fund as well as its positioning as a globally renowned motion picture funding and production house. In that capacity, he was involved as production executive on projects such as Doug Liman’s FAIR GAME, Oscar-winning THE HELP, THE CRAZIES, and Karan Johar’s MY NAME IS KHAN; and co-produced THE DOUBLE and GHOST RIDER – SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. He further negotiated a partnership with Singapore’s Media Development Authority (MDA) fostering production in South-East Asia, served on the board ofImagination’s branch office in Chennai, India, and brought to life an Arab-language film slate in the UAE, including coming-of-age drama Nawaf Al-Jahani’s coming-of-age drama SEA SHADOW and Tobe Hooper’s horror thriller DJINN. In November 2010, Stefan’s leadership and management skills within the motion picture industry along with his track record of successfully working with multi-cultural teams in distinctly different cultural and political environments have been recognized when he was named one of 35 film executives under the age of 35 in The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Next Generation issue. The Executive Hour Webcast with Steve Desmond

We're back in the Writers' Room for the Executive Hour Webcast with Steve Desmond! Steve Desmond is one of the screenwriters of the upcoming feature film, "A Knock at the Cabin," which comes to theaters this February from Universal Studios and director M. Night Shyamalan. He has a second feature film currently in production at Paramount, which will be released in theaters in 2024. His screenplays have been voted onto the prestigious industry Black List four times, including "The Saturday Night Ghost Club," which he is attached to direct with Brad Fuller ("A Quiet Place") producing. He sold his sci-fi adventure screenplay, "Harry’s All-Night Hamburgers," to Warner Bros in a bidding war, with Oscar-nominated producer Andrew Lazar attached. His short film, "Monsters," which he wrote and directed, has amassed over two million views online and screened in over 100 film festivals worldwide, winning 45 awards. We're back in the Writers' Room for the Executive Hour Webcast with Emmy-nominated and PGA Award-winning Filmmaker and Producer, Rick Rosenthal of Whitewater Films. Best known for helming the hard-hitting drama BAD BOYS, which helped establish Sean Penn’s career, Rick has directed the likes of Joaquin Phoenix, John Lithgow, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Busta Rhymes. Along with his credits directing films, Rick has also worked extensively in television.
