Andrew Kersey is a Literary Manager and the head of Kersey Management. In fall 2021, his client's comedy VACATION FRIENDS starring John Cena and Lil Rel was Hulu's biggest 3-day weekend opener for an original in the streamer's history. A sequel is being fast-tracked. In 2020, Andrew sold his client's sci-fi spec script, VARIETAL, to Universal with Mike De Luca, the Oscar-nominated producer behind THE SOCIAL NETWORK and the FIFTY SHADES OF GREY movies! His incredibly talented clients are working on projects at all the major studios and streaming outlets, including Netflix and Amazon, and the networks and cable channels ABC, Fox, NBC, CW, Disney Channel, and Nickelodeon. Andrew worked his way up through the industry, starting as a production company intern before working for the management and production powerhouse 3Arts Entertainment. Andrew started his career as a production company intern at 3Arts Entertainment and later at a Universal Production company. His credits include clients who have sold pilots to or been staffed on series for ABC, FOX, NBC, Disney Channel, CW, Nickelodeon, and WGN. AMAZON STUDIOS bought its client’s action comedy spec NEVER TOO OLD TO DIE with Sylvester Stallone, and THUNDER ROAD PICTURES (JOHN WICK franchise) is producing another client’s project, SUSPENSION. Another of Andrew's clients wrote VACATION FRIENDS starring John Cena and Lil Rel, which was Hulu's biggest 3-day weekend opener for an original in the streamer's history. His client list has been represented by all the major talent agencies. In Andrew's own words: " I'm looking for storytellers who can concisely pitch their idea (any genre, format) from start to finish. It all begins with a logline and ideal comps. Q: How do I watch my webinar on demand?

Q: What is the format of a webinar?
A: Stage 32 Next Level Webinars are typically 90-minute educational broadcasts that take place online using a designated software program from Stage 32. Your webinar will be taught by a working industry professional with in-depth teaching on a topic. If you are able to attend live you will be able to ask your Stage 32 Educator questions during Q&A.
Q: What are the system requirements to watch my webinar live?
A: You will need to meet the following system requirements in order to run the webinar software: Windows 7 or later Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or later.
If you have Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.9 (Mountain Lion): The webinar software does not support these operating systems. If you are running one of those operating systems, please upgrade now in order to be able to view a live webinar. Upgrade your Windows computer / Upgrade your Mac computer.
Q: What if I cannot attend the live webinar?
A: If you cannot attend a live webinar or purchase an on demand webinar, you will have access to the entire recorded broadcast, including the Q&A.
Q: Will I have access to the webinar afterward to re-watch?
A: Yes! Like all Stage 32 education, after the purchase of a live or on demand webinar, you will have on-demand access to the recording.
Q: How do I get a copy of the handouts provided?
A: If the webinar you take included handouts you can find them as downloads underneath your on demand video. You must be logged into your Stage 32 profile to view the video and get the handouts by clicking settings in the top right hand corner, then clicking purchase history.

The Pitch Tank with Liska Ostojic
We're back in the Writers' Room for the Pitch Tank Webcast with Liska Ostojic Liska Ostojic is the Head of Development for 120E Films, a company run by filmmaker Pin-Chun Liu. The company's second feature, TEST PATTERN, was released February 2021. Focusing on stories of diverse and underrepresented voices for an international market, 120E Films is interested in short-form and feature-length content that is timely and impactful. Previously Liska has worked at Dreamworks Animation. After graduating with an MFA from the American Film Institute Conservatory, Liska co-wrote the award-winning shorts CONTRAPELO and WAY IN RYE, as well as numerous commissioned features. Her passion remains collaborating with and mentoring writers, discovering wonderful stories that deserve to be told, and championing ones that will make a difference in the world.
Pitch Tank Webcast with Producer, Samantha Schifrien
We're back in the Writers' Room for the Pitch Tank Webcast with Producer, Samantha Schifrien. Samantha Schifrien is a Producer at 93 Cedar - a production company that seeks to create content for Feature and Television distribution. The company will focus on telling inclusive stories from creative with diverse backgrounds. Prior to her role at 93 Cedar, Samantha was a Development Executive at Untitled Entertainment with Michael Rosenberg the executive behind prolific series, including "Hell on Wheels," "Rogue," and "Klondike." Samantha works directly with Michael to find and develop projects for sale to cable networks. Untitled brought in Michael and Samantha to help further build out the management/production company’s television business. They are looking for television projects to find for Untitled's massive roster of on-screen talent. Rosenberg has worked on features including Sundance Jury Prize-winner TREASURE ISLAND, and is best known for executive producing highly successful television series. Rosenberg previously served as EVP U.S. Scripted Television and SVP Original Scripted Series Programming for Entertainment One. He oversaw eOne’s TV Development, Current Programming and Production department. Previously, Samantha worked in International Television Production at NBCUniversal, on the series "Resurrection" for ABC, and Brillstein-Grey Entertainment.

We're diving into the Writers' Room Pitch Tank with special guest, Emmy-nominated Producer Sam Sokolow. Sam is a highly respected television executive and 2-time Emmy nominated Executive Producer with deep experience in developing and producing television series. He is currently Executive Producer of "GENIUS", a scripted series for National Geographic Network, which he developed from book to series. The first season of "GENIUS" depicted the life of Albert Einstein with Geoffrey Rush starring as Einstein and Ron Howard directing the pilot. "GENIUS: EINSTEIN" garnered ten 2017 Emmy nominations including a Best Limited Series nomination for Sam. The second season of "GENIUS" - "GENIUS: PICASSO" - depicted the life of Pablo Picasso with Antonio Banderas starring as Picasso and garnered seven 2018 Emmy nominations including a Best Limited Series nomination for Sam. The third season of "GENIUS" – "GENIUS: ARETHA" - depicts the life of “The Queen Of Soul” Aretha Franklin, with Cynthia Erivo portraying Aretha and Suzan-Lori Parks showrunning, and will premiere in 2021.
