Lindsay Maizel is a Producer and Development Executive who has worked for some of the top companies in film and television including Disney, HBO, Amazon, the Chernin Group and Fee Fi Fo for over a decade. She was most recently the Head of Development for Fee Fi Fo, a production company with a first-look deal at ABC Signature, for director James Griffiths (BLACK-ISH, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS, STUMPTOWN). She was responsible for finding fresh talent and developing scripts in house to support Giffiths' deal with ABC. Prior to Fee Fi Fo, she was the Creative Associate at Disney Television and helped develop shows for ABC Development teams (ABBOTT ELEMENTARY, THE WONDER YEARS, HOME ECONOMICS) and Freeform Development teams (EVERYTHING’S GONNA BE OKAY, MOTHERLAND). She was part of Disney’s Executive Management Program, and worked in Marketing, Research, Scheduling, Unscripted, and Business Affairs. Prior to Disney, she also worked at Awesomeness (PEN15, TO ALL THE BOYS franchise, XO KITTY) where she worked with the Chief Content Officer. She began her career at HBO in Film Programming, Amazon in Comedy Development and The Chernin Group in Development. Q: How do I watch my webinar live?
A: If you received a confirmation that your webinar is on Go to Webinar, you will receive an email from Go to Webinar with further instructions for participating in the live webinar. You can also access your webinar link in your purchase history located under settings in the top right-hand corner of your Stage 32 profile.
If you received a confirmation that your webinar is on Zoom, you will receive a separate email from Zoom with further instructions for participating in the live webinar. Your login link will not be in your Stage 32 profile. If you did not receive your link via Zoom please email support@stage32.com.
Q: How do I watch my webinar on demand?
A: You will be able to watch your webinar on demand as many times as you’d like inside your Stage 32 profile. The recording is processed and posted between 24-48 hours after the webinar concludes. You can follow the instructions below.

Q: What is the format of a webinar?
A: Stage 32 Next Level Webinars are typically 90-minute educational broadcasts that take place online using a designated software program from Stage 32. Your webinar will be taught by a working industry professional with in-depth teaching on a topic. If you are able to attend live you will be able to ask your Stage 32 Educator questions during Q&A.
Q: What are the system requirements to watch my webinar live?
A: You will need to meet the following system requirements in order to run the webinar software: Windows 7 or later Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or later.
If you have Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.9 (Mountain Lion): The webinar software does not support these operating systems. If you are running one of those operating systems, please upgrade now in order to be able to view a live webinar. Upgrade your Windows computer / Upgrade your Mac computer.
Q: What if I cannot attend the live webinar?
A: If you cannot attend a live webinar or purchase an on demand webinar, you will have access to the entire recorded broadcast, including the Q&A.
Q: Will I have access to the webinar afterward to re-watch?
A: Yes! Like all Stage 32 education, after the purchase of a live or on demand webinar, you will have on-demand access to the recording.
Q: How do I get a copy of the handouts provided?
A: If the webinar you take included handouts you can find them as downloads underneath your on demand video. You must be logged into your Stage 32 profile to view the video and get the handouts by clicking settings in the top right hand corner, then clicking purchase history.

The Pitch Tank Webcast With Sam Sokolow
We're diving into the Writers' Room Pitch Tank with special guest, Emmy-nominated Producer Sam Sokolow. Sam is a highly respected television executive and 2-time Emmy nominated Executive Producer with deep experience in developing and producing television series. He is currently Executive Producer of "GENIUS", a scripted series for National Geographic Network, which he developed from book to series. The first season of "GENIUS" depicted the life of Albert Einstein with Geoffrey Rush starring as Einstein and Ron Howard directing the pilot. "GENIUS: EINSTEIN" garnered ten 2017 Emmy nominations including a Best Limited Series nomination for Sam. The second season of "GENIUS" - "GENIUS: PICASSO" - depicted the life of Pablo Picasso with Antonio Banderas starring as Picasso and garnered seven 2018 Emmy nominations including a Best Limited Series nomination for Sam. The third season of "GENIUS" – "GENIUS: ARETHA" - depicts the life of “The Queen Of Soul” Aretha Franklin, with Cynthia Erivo portraying Aretha and Suzan-Lori Parks showrunning, and will premiere in 2021. Season 4 of "GENIUS" – "GENIUS: MARTIN LUTHER KING" – has been ordered and will premiere in 2022 on Disney+.

As a director, Boman has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy for the show "DARK/WEB" on Amazon Prime and was both the showrunner and director for Warhammer 40,000's "ANGELS OF DEATH" and "THE EXODITE" currently running on Warhammer+. Boman started the company LOST LEGION STUDIOS to generate VFX materials as well as animated content for companies that include RIOT GAMES, WU-TANG CLAN as well as video games with SUNSCORCHED STUDIOS and AFFRAY INTERACTIVE. He is the former head of acquisitions and development for Mt. Hollywood where he also produced the BAFTA-nominated "THE PARTY's JUST BEGINNING" with Karen Gillan now on AMAZON PRIME. He has also consulted and produced with BRAIN ACADEMY, known for the Keanu Reeves/Peter Stormare show "SWEDISH DICKS", where he packaged both features and television shows.
The Pitch Tank Webcast with Special Guest Literary Manager Mike Diaz
During this webcast, the Writers' Room welcomes special guest, Literary Manager Mike Diaz of The Coronel Group to critique members' pitches. The Coronel Group is a literary and talent management company based in LA that has a roster of A-List Actors, including Alan Tudyk (Disney Animated Films), Adan Gillen ("GAME OF THRONES"), and Robert Patrick (TERMINATOR -franchise). Mike focusses on project development for Coronel Group's screenwriters and directors through the literary division. Mike has over 10 years of experience representing Actors, writers, and Directors, and he had some excellent insights for those members who pitched. This month we heard pitches for television and features, including a Thriller, Drama, Coming-of-Age story, and more! And two members had their scripts requested by Mike after the session!
