Parker Lewis Can't Lose (1993)
Television (Comedy) Actor Trendy high school student Parker Lewis (a character similar to Ferris Bueller), for whom, as suggested by his motto, "Not a problem," nothing is impossible. Like his best buds Mikey Randall and Jerry Steiner, and his girlfriend Annie Sloane, his prime concern is achieving and maintaining coolness during the turbulent years of puberty. However, their efforts keep being thwarted by Parker's little sister, Shelly, and principal Grace Musso. Apart from various aspects of teenage life, embedded in a wealth of cartoon-like special effects and camera trickery, an episode regularly contains more or less subtle references to movies, politics, and celebrities. Earthbound (1981)
Film (Family, Sci-Fi and Comedy) Actor Originally meant to be the pilot for a hopeful new TV series, meant to follow the adventures of a family of aliens trapped on Earth, and the two Earthlings they live with. This pilot opens with a boy and his grandfather struggling to keep their hotel in business. When a UFO passes over the town and crashes nearby, the pair decide to stay home while the rest of the townspeople go investigate. Shortly afterwards, an alien family staggers out of the woods asking for protection from both the mob of civillians and the government agents searching for them. An American Christmas Carol (1979)
TV Movie (Drama and Fantasy) Actor In Depression-era New England, a miserly businessman named Benedict Slade receives a long-overdue attitude adjustment one Christmas eve when he is visited by three ghostly figures who resemble three of the people whose possessions Slade had seized to collect on unpaid loans. Assuming the roles of the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future from Charles Dickens' classic story, the three apparitions force Slade to face the consequences of his skinflint ways, and he becomes a caring, generous, amiable man.
