After several university diplomas in computing and arts, a career in the Computer Graphics industry in France, for the last 10 years, Zefred has been working on film sets and productions, mainly as Camera and Steadicam Operator, Cinematographer and Director. He has operated cameras on numerous projects, while keeping up to date with the post-production side. In 2005, he was asked to come to Canada to teach directing and cinematography. He is currently teaching, working as a freelance cinematographer and director, and developing several feature and TV projects as writer, producer and director: Green Fees (comedy), The Three Musketeers (comedy), Filmschool (horror/comedy) and the Demetra : The Dragon Knights Chronicles (fantasy/adventure).
Vice President of the Front des Réalisateurs Indépendants du Canada (FRIC), a not for profit organization representing Canadian Francophone Film and TV directors outside of Quebec, regularly volunteering for charities such as Shoot for a Cure or Stop Concussions, deeply involved in the Torontonian Film Industry and the Francophone community as volunteer organizer of the Toronto Film and TV Industry Networking Group and the Toronto French Friday, Zefred is always available for new adventures.
