My name is Mary Helen and I am an award-winning mystery writer. Along with working on my fourth and fifth books, I'm also developing a procedural called Breaking Silence. It features a former cop turned PI. Television is one of my passions and someday I hope to write for it.
Thanks to some notes from Executive (thank you Stage 32 for helping connect us with them via pitch sessions) and from our Amazing Writer's Room (seriously, if you're a writer and not in there, you really need to check it out), I've spent a lot of time in the last week digging into that pilot.
