Anything Goes : My Plans During the Writer's Strike. by Tim Bragg

My Plans During the Writer's Strike.

After a month of mauling things over. I have pulled all my scripts on Stage 32 and Ink Tip. I will be working with Stage 32, and putting together new log lines and synopses on the scripts.

I am working on a new script in the meantime, and when the writers' strike is over, I will put the scripts back up on Stage 32 and Ink Tip and look more into Green Light My Movie. I am looking to join the writer's room and if it might be a good fit IMDB Pro, which I am still researching, after the strike.

It makes little sense to me to join the writer's room, and IMDB Pro when nobody can sell anything. realistically if there was no strike going on, the only projects being made would be new shows getting ready for the fall, reality shows, game shows, and Christmas movies being filmed to release in late November.

Personally, I think the strike will resolve itself in early fall, there is really not a big rush to settle anything now, all the big production companies are out for summer anyway, that said, who else has given thought to what they are going to do during the writer's strike?

I did the same, Tim. I pulled my scripts from online platforms/made my scripts private. I'm working on spec scripts and getting better at screenwriting during the script.

The Writers' Room offers more than just access to producers, companies, etc. (after the strike). The Writers' Room has a lot of other great perks like free webinars, live events with special guests, Pitch Practices, Coverage Reports, Writers' Cafes, a private Lounge, and discounts for Stage 32's contests.

I am a big fan of classics and 80's movies, but I am starting to look at newer pictures this year. Tonight I watched About My Father. I liked it. I am a big Deniro fan, and I was hoping he was not going to act like an Italian mobster in this, but he did without the killing except for the peacock because there was no food in the house.

Yeah, it was more of a follow up to your post.

A follow up to my comment starting with "I did the same, Tim. I pulled my scripts from online platforms/made my scripts private," Tim Bragg?

Tim Bragg

Maybe not a follow up, but a filler.
