A teen nerd suspects his family may be serial killers after receiving horrifying texts on a broken mobile phone from a girl who disappeared 20 years ago. Now he must stop them from killing again.

SYNOPSIS:

Life is tough for perennial victim Samuel Williams.

He’s 16, a tech nerd and faces the sneering mockery of bullies both outside and inside the home. Nowhere, it seems, is safe.

But his life changes when he discovers an old mobile phone in his Uncle’s garage. It inexplicably begins sending him disturbing messages from the past, messages from a long-dead young woman – MICHELLE PARKER.

It leads him to suspect his loving Aunt Sylvia and his religious fanatic Uncle Alan could be involved in her kidnapping and murder.

Determined to discover the truth, Sam starts digging – despite the best efforts of his sadistic, hateful cousin DIANE to thwart him.

But with the help of best friend BEN, Sam’s search for answers leads him to realise a much darker possibility – his aunt and uncle could be notorious, religiously-motivated killers who have been butchering people since the year 2000 in order to build a cage made of ribs.

A cage … to catch the devil.

His search for truth leads them to a woodland cabin and a battle for survival when the killers reveal themselves and their psychopathic plan to stave off the end of the world through murder.

Only with Michelle’s supernatural help can Sam uncover the truth, save Ben, stop the killers from striking again and free Michelle’s spirit once and for all.
