About Tony
I am the Grandson of Joe Jordan, World Renown, Ragtime Composer www.hamptonu.edu Peabody Collection and the Nephew of Lowell Jordan who wrote for Lou Rawls and Sam Cooke.
My Mother a Librarian put me in my first Stage Play at the age of 9 as Henry in the Musical "Finnegan's Rainbow" at the Fort Lewis Little Theater. From then until now, I have been a Band Leader (Vocalist), Lyricist, Script Writer and Producer of the Tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr., "A Prayer by Dr. King."
Throughout my Education over these many years as a Corporate Executive, 30 years, (Retired in 2005) and Board Member of several Non-Profit Agencies and a Public Figure in the Greater Seattle Area.
In 1977 I moved to LA with my day job at Texaco, Inc and was Sponsored by Bill Bixby to attend Estelle Harmon's Workshop. In 1978, I became a Member of SAG in 1978 with a Busch Beer Commercial and graduated in 1979 with a MFA! SAG/AFTRA ID: 10050998 ( Freelance/Independent ) as had a BA in Psychology from Central Washington University (1972) and V.P. of the Student Government Association, a Member of the Varsity B-Ball Team and inducted into the CWU Basketball of Fame in 2/96.
While working in LA, always with a day job, I have many credits to my name and in 1983 moved backed to Tacoma and a dues paying Member of SAG/AFTRA (Seattle)! In 1986, As Chairman of the of the EEOC on behalf of the SAG/AFTRA Local established the National American Scene Award's for SAG/AFTRA as Co-Founder to hire Actor's of Color and with Disabilities. It became a National SAG Award in 2013.
Working in the Geater Tacoma/Seattle area, I have several credits to my name, as well.
An advocate for the Performing Art's for the Washington Film Works Commission that has a $15M per year fund and a Sustaining Member of KNKX NPR 88.5 FM www.knkx.org and www.SoulGoldRadio.net Worldwide Internet Station located in Greenville/Piedmont, SC.
From 3/30/19 to 7/10.2020 for my Robert Johnson Story research for " King of the Blues " that I have Created, Written and Scripted; from Macon, GA., through the Bible Belt and Delta Regions to New Orleans. I was blessed by Brother Anthony Jordan, Music Director for Greater Allen A,M.E. Church to perform at the Little Richard House dedication (Fundraiser) before the Board of Director's, the Mayor and County elected officials and 5000 Public-at-Large from the Macon, GA. ,Community. SLC with the Blues Foundation for a Guitar Shorty Concert (Fundraiser), NOLA at the House of Blues in the French Quarter with Willie Lockett and the Blues Krewe!
I arrived back in Tacoma, WA and established two Jook Joints locations at Ray Gibson's Caballeros Club and Joesseppis Italian Restaurant.
The Soundtrack of all 41 Songs Robert Johnson recorded during the Great Depression to escape Slavery will be done in an all-new version with a 10-piece band to market the product to 100+M Blues Lovers Globally.
In 2022, along with Charlie Watts we Produced a 4th of July Music Festival at the LA Fairgrounds in Corona, CA. a (Fundraiser) for the Harriett Tubman Museum in Macon, GA.
This May are the elections for the Sag/AFTRA Board of Directors positions (Seattle Local) and I have announced to my colleagues, Actors and TV and Radio Broadcaster's that are eligible voting members, that I am running for National Board Member (4 year term) and President ( Two Year Term ) if elected to either position in the Actor/Performer Category.
Since, 2011 I have been creating stories and scripts of which there are several in genres e.g. Science Fiction, Sci fi Animated Shorts, True compelling Stories, a Faith Based Student Film and a Faith Based Animated Short. Episodic TV Detective Story ( Pilot ), Adventure Film, Romantic/Comedy/Drama, Comedy Sitcom and my Grandfathers Documentary "They All Played Ragtime" and a Documentary to Help the Children of Ukraine "Through a Child's Lens: Out of the Mouth of Babe's"!
The revenue from the RJ soundtrack is my top priority. as my whole go is to create Union Jobs for a NW Hollywood as Economic Development through Motion Pictures!

Unique traits: Film Historian and Researcher! Black History Historian and Researcher! Adjunct Professor ( MFA ). A Mentor to the up and coming Youth Creator's in Music and Film! All around good guy with a great sense of Humor!
