Roxanna Lewis

Roxanna Lewis is a director, choreographer, filmmaker, writer and producer. Roxanna’s exceptional creative trajectory has left her indelible mark on productions all around the world. Her roots were honed through the international languages of dance and acting with performances on screen (Sex & The City, Law & Order, We The Jury), and on Broadway/Off-Broadway (Christopher Reeve’s First You Dream, Adventures of Tom Sawyer) & the New York Comedy Club. As director and choreographer, her work has been presented across the USA at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center Out Of Doors, the Department of Agriculture, in Washington, DC, as well as for international dignitaries and audiences in France, Germany, Scotland, Guatemala, Italy, Japan, Thailand and Hong Kong with feature stories on BBC-TV, ABC-TV and Moscow Television.

Roxanna’s definitive approach to filmmaking springs from her expert understanding of motion, composition, and story in theater and dance. Her desire to reach broader audiences aligned with hands-on opportunities to learn and work behind the scenes in television studios and film production lots in NYC/LA. Producing credits include: State of the Union on PBS-TV (Dr. Maya Angelou interview) and eXplosion Media Harvest Festival/ Snapper Bear Studios (NYC). She has worked on projects with Island Records, SONY UK, MPress Records, ABC-TV, CNN.COM, The Discovery Chanel, Showtime, Mindless Entertainment, DNA Productions and The Revolver Film Company. As a writer, Roxanna has worked on book projects with Emmy Award winning actor/director, Ben Gazzara and psychologist, Dr. Marcia Greenleaf.
