Jen Govey

Hi all! My name is Jen. I've worked professionally in the British film industry since 1992. I started out in the cutting rooms for several years before getting asked to co-ordinate Delivery Requirements for the director/producer I was working with and ended up as his PA. Spent many years running his office at Pinewood Studios, which included script reading and evaluation, idea development, pre-production and production.

I then freelanced with producers and directors after getting M.E. and now do consulting and screenwriting. I have been commissioned to write screenplays a few times and am now pursuing my own screenwriting projects, though I still do commissioned work and freelance as a consultant on occasion with the right offers.

I am passionate about the craft and working on movies has been a lifelong dream and passion, so I am very lucky to do what I love. I am valued for my enthusiasm, creativity, problem solving abilities and general loveliness. I have been very blessed to have worked with some amazing and talented technicians over the years and I'm excited to see where the adventure leads next! I'm always delighted to make genuine connections with fellow creatives. :)
