Director David Yap is a marketing student from Sunway University in Malaysia who enjoys running film and screenwriting workshops, helping to direct student films with the hope of one day participating in some of the world’s most prestigious film festivals. Influenced by such notable directors as Alfonso Cuaron, Steven Spielberg and Wes Anderson, David is always in pursuit of powerful stories that deliver a potent message of personal power and emotional freedom.
