New Like Interface
As you already know, Liking is one of the best ways to show your support to fellow Stage 32 creatives.
Liking content is also a great way to enhance your network standing and gain Karma Points.
You can like Lounge discussions, wall posts, commments, photos, videos, loglines and much more.
Here's a quick rundown of the new Like interface on Stage 32:
Now it's easier see whether or not you've already liked a piece of content. When you haven't liked an item, the like link will always be red and you'll see an empty heart .
Hover over any like link to see a list of other Stage 32 members who have liked that content.
If the list is very long, you'll be able to scroll through it to see eveyrone on the list.
To like content, simply click the red Like button.
After you've liked something, the like button will turn green like this: Liked ✓ · 1
Show your support by liking wall posts, Lounge discussions, comments, videos, loglines & screenplays, projects, and photos. Support a fellow creative today!

Upload Audio to Your Stage 32 Reel
We've added the ability for you to easily upload audio to your Stage 32 Reel.
To get started, just click Video & Audio under the Share menu at the top of your screen.
Next, select Upload a file.
Drag your file into the dotted border or click Choose File to browse your computer and select the audio clip to upload.
Once your file is uploaded, it may take up to 30 minutes to process. In the mean time, you should add a Title and Description for your audio clip.
Click Save to save your title and description.
When you're done editing, click the Done button in the uppder right-hand corner.
After the file is done processing, it will appear on your Reel.
Audio clips are perfect for voice artist and sound editor who want to upload their demos, screenwriters who would like to record a synopsis of their script, or even filmmakers who want to describe their latest project in detail. Get started today!

We've just added view counts to your Stage 32 videos, photos, loglines/screenplays, and projects. You can now see how many people have viewed your content on Stage 32.
This is not only a great way to see how popular your content is within the Stage 32 community, but also a very useful tool for monitoring the effectiveness of your promotional efforts outside of Stage 32!

Add a video to your Stage 32 reel with just a link!
Last week, we announced our all-new video upload system. Today, we're making it even easier to add videos to your Stage 32 Reel!
You can now paste a link to a video you've already uploaded to an another site such as YouTube, Vimeo, Metacafe, and over 150 other video hosting sites!
To get started, click Video under the Share menu at the top of the page.
Select Paste a link. A new form will appear for you to paste your link into.
Just copy and paste the entire URL or embed link from the video you'd like to add to your Reel.
Click Submit.
If the link is valid, you'll see the video's thumbnail along with automatically generated title and description. You can choose to use the automatically generated title and description or edit them if you wish.
Click Save when you're satisfied with the title and description.
A new message will appear confirming that you've successfully saved your video.
You can choose to edit your video's title and description further or click Done to return to your Reel.
The video you just added will appear at the top of your Stage 32 Reel!
Now it's even easier to show what you're made of with your Stage 32 Reel. Get started today!

Easier Video Uploads
We've just rebuilt our video upload system from the ground up to make it much easier to add videos to your Stage 32 Reel!
To upload a new video, click Video under the Share menu at the top of the page.
On the Post a new video page, you can either browse for your file by clicking Choose File or just drag and drop the video file directly into the gray box. Your video will start uploading automatically.

Browse for a file to upload
You'll be able to see the video upload progress in real time.
Once your video is done uploading, enter a title and description then click Save.
Please note: Depending on the size of your video, it may take up to an hour for us to process it. Usually, it'll be ready in less than 5 minutes.
To return to your Reel, click Done.
Posting videos to your Stage 32 Reel is a great way to show off your work and promote yourself. Check out the new and improved video upload system today!

View all incoming messages awaiting your reply
We've just added a handy new feature to the all-new Stage 32 Messages system. You can now view all messages awaiting your reply.
From your Messages page, you'll see a new "Awaiting reply" message group. From there you'll see all incoming messages that you haven't responded to (or deleted).

All-new Stage 32 Messages system
We've just rebuilt Stage 32 Messages system from the ground up. With the new system, it's much easier to manage, organize, and reply to your Stage 32 private messages.
Here's a quick walk-through of the new Stage 32 Messages system to help you get acquainted with the new features.
To get started, click the Messages link from your profile sidebar.
On the left side of the Messages page, you'll see buttons to allow you to select Unread, All, or Sent messages. Unread messages will be shown by default. You'll also be able to see the number of messages in each of these groups.
Below the buttons, you'll see a list of messages in the group you've selected.
Reading messages
Click a message in the list to read it.
Replying to messages
To reply to a message, just type your reply below the last message and click Send.
A "replied" icon will show you which messages you've replied to.
The message group counts will also be updated automatically.
Marking messages as unread
To mark a message as unread, click the eye icon.
Deleting conversations
To delete a conversation, click the trash can icon and confirm that you want the conversation to be deleted.
Now it's even easier than ever to manage your Stage 32 Messages. Get started today!

New 'Find Work' section
Looking for a gig? Finding work in your area has never been easier.
To get started, click Find work under the Browse menu at the top of the page.
The Find work page will automatically show you projects in your area based on the Current city and Occupations you've added to your profile.
You can search for work in other locations or for different occupations by changing the search criteria on the left side of the page.
The Seeking field allows you to select which occupations to search for. To add more occupations, just click Select occupations... to see a list of options. To search the list, just start typing the name of an occupation. Click an occupation name to add it.
To remove an occupation from your search, click the X next to an occupation name.
After you've selected the location and occupations you'd like to search, just click the Search button.
To see more details about a project, click the project's title to be taken to that project's page.
Whether your a camera operator in Vancouver, a music composer in London, or an actor in Chicago, Stage 32's new Find work section will connect you with projects in your area looking for creatives your specific skillset. Get started today!

Expanding your Stage 32 network has never been easier. Now you can find and connect with Stage 32 members who are near you, are looking for creatives with your skillset in your area, or are connected with people already in your Stage 32 network.
To get started, just click the Expand my network button at the bottom of your network list. This will take you to the Expand my network page.
From here, you can connect with Stage 32 members looking for people with your talent for a project in your area.
You'll also be able to connect with other creatives near you...
And members who are connected to another creative in your network.
Just click the Add to Network button next to the creative you'd like to connect with.
Expanding your Stage 32 network is a great way to find work in your area and connect with other like-minded creatives. Get started today!

Easier networking on Stage 32
We've made some major improvements to make it much easier for you to manage your Stage 32 network.
When you visit a member's profile, you can send a network request by clicking "Add to Network" in the upper right-hand corner.
After you send a request, the button will automatically change to show that your request has been sent.
When you visit the profile of a member who has sent you a network request, you can easily accept the network request with one click.
Also, you no longer have to wait for the page to reload after you send a network request.
Remember, It's not what you know, it's who you know that makes all the difference. Happy networking!

Search projects by occupation
You can now search Stage 32 Projects by the type of talent (profession) the project creator is seeking. Now its easier than ever to find projects specific to your talents!
Here's how:
Go to the Stage 32 Projects page.
Select an occupation under Project seeking.... You can also narrow your search even more by selecting a location, project type, etc. When you're done, click Apply.
Now you'll see a list of the latest projects matching your search criteria. You can click on the title to see more details about the project or leave a comment. Happy searching!

Project contributors
You can now add a list of contributors to your Stage 32 Projects. Now it's easy to give credit to other Stage 32 members who are involved in your production.
Here's how:
On the right side of your project page, find the Contributors section and type in the name of a project contributor. The form will auto-complete the full name of a Stage 32 member. After that, simply click Add to add that member as a contributor.
It's also easy to remove contributors from your own project (or remove yourself from a project you're listed on). Just click the X icon next to the name of the member to be removed. Project creators can remove any project contributor and a contributor can remove himself from any project.
And don't forget, you can search for talent for your project on the new and improved People page. Good luck!

New and improved location search
We've made some huge improvements to searching by location on the Stage 32 People page.
Search results by location are now much more accurate and will also include results from nearby cities. Try it out for yourself!
Access the Stage 32 People page by clicking People under the Browse menu.
Start typing a location name and select the correct location from the list. You can also enter other search criteria at this point, such as name and occupation.
Now you'll see a list of members near the area you've selected

Stage 32 Reel improvements
We've made some major improvements to Stage 32 Reels. We've completely redesigned the interface for viewing, commenting on, and liking videos. We've also made it much easier to browse through a Stage 32 member's reel.
Also, for those members who have been having problems viewing uploaded videos, we've fixed bugs that were preventing smooth playback on all web browsers.

Search your network
You can now search your network connections by name and/or occupation. We've also made it much easier to navigate your network when you've made a lot of connections. You can now see what page number of the results you're currently viewing and jump directly to a specific page number. Better yet, this works when browsing through another member's network as well.

We've made some major updates to the Stage 32 invitation system. You can now invite fellow creatives to Stage 32 using contacts in your Gmail, Yahoo and Windows Live/Hotmail address books. And of course, you can still type in email addresses manually and send invitations via Facebook.

We've made it easier to navigate long lists of loglines & screenplays by adding pagination to long lists. Now you can browse a user's logline/screenplay list 10 items at a time.

Lounge topic now shown in Network Activity
We've added the Lounge topic tag to Lounge posts that appear in your Network Activity section. Now you can easily jump directly to that Lounge section by clicking the tag.

See who liked a post or comment
When more than one person has liked a post or comment, you can now easily see a list of all users who liked that same item. Just click the link that shows you the total number of people who've liked that item to see the complete list.

I'm excited to announce our new Stage 32 Lounge, a major upgrade to the previous Discussions area. Here are some of the highlights:
- Subscriptions - Subscribe to your favorite topics and stay up to date on the subjects that matter to you most.
- My Discussions - Never lose track of discussions you created or commented on.
- Better topics - We've completely reorganized the discussion topics to make it much easier to browse and post discussions.
You can get to the lounge any time by clicking the Lounge link at the top of the page. Also, check out the new My discussions and My subscriptions tabs on your wall. Enjoy!

New updates section, photo captions, theatre resources and privacy settings
New Updates section From now on, we'll be publishing announcements about new features and site enhancements to our new Updates section.
Captioning for all photos You can now include descriptive text and links to be shown your headshots, candids, or personal photos.
Theater resources We've added a new theatre resources section. You can access all resources sections from the Browse menu at the top of the page.
New privacy setting for private messages We've added the option to disable private messages from people who aren't in your network. By default, these private messages are enabled. If you'd like to receive messages ONLY from Stage 32 users in your network, you can change this setting on your Privacy settings page (go to your profile picture (upper right hand corner) and click Privacy on the drop-down menu).
