Collaboration for Social TV/Film projects

We're seeking creative minds that can see where content production is HEADED rather than where its been. In other words, those noticing how networks and cable channels are slowly migrating to digital platforms in addition to integrating social/audience interaction elements into their projects. This coupled with continual decline in box office sales point at major change. That said, I'd love to connect with those that are at least curious and want to learn or have already embraced change and would like to collaborate. We're developing a project that will evolve into a multi-platform story series; initially it will start out on the web or TV series once its dialed in. Thanks for your cooperation.

Please keep me in the loop. Check out my latest project Seeking Valentina: http://www.prlog.org/12437102-new-short-film-seeking-valentina-is-curren...

I would definitely like to learn more about your project. You hit it on the head for the demand of digital media/social content. Networks are all if not already establishing in house digital media studios with this aim in mind. Netflix, Amazon are on the move. I am talking with one network now and am looking for content to to meet this digital/social media need.

Omar and Kristin.. thanks for showing up as a couple of the very few people in this community that embrace change. I just read an article yesterday about Social TV growth and that the MOST important demographic are the Tweens who live on their mobile devices and PREFER to engage/participate with stories and characters. The project we've been working on continues to evolve due to various things of which one is the need for creative collaborators who have vision and are paying attention/learning to how the transmedia storyworld bible is assembled.

Hi Jonathan, Thanks for using Stage32 for this outreach. Shows that you and and NVizhon know how to use new media to create a community! I write and produce programs that highlight social needs, action and change. Let's stay connected.

This maverick idea is very interesting to me, but I need to confess it would be a learning curve, because I'm not a "techie". That being said, I'm learning cinematography later this year. I think the audience participation aspect is taking art to a deeper level, and adds a new layer to personal entertainment.

Kathy and Debbie.. Thanks for the comments.. FYI, the 'maverick' idea isn't mine. In fact brands and some major film projects (Dark Knight, Harry Potter, etc) have used transmedia storytelling for quite some time. However what we're seeing is a rapid shift to mobile, social media (Periscope, Meerkat, Snapchat, Twitter), gaming, eBook and other platforms with mobile leading the way. You may find these two stories of interest: http://goo.gl/HEb8eh and this one: http://goo.gl/Q4B92s Also the Tweens are a MAJOR influencing demographic we as storytellers MUST pay attention to: http://goo.gl/9FaEnw Beyond all of this lies one important element; willingness to change. And this happens to be the theme that drives the story in development here at nVizhon.. want to play in the sandbox?

Kathy Nicholas

Current and new is certainly a sandbox! Millions of grains contribute to building the sandcastles.

Hi I agree with Kathy, and thanks for you info Jonathan, will have a good read later with the suggested links. Of course I know the original idea has been here a while, but your "project" sounds like it might gather up a few extra layers/ideas , and target a wider cross section of people. Good Weekend!

Thanks girls.. I think we can all put our heads together here and create something fresh.. at least that's my intention. Reading RB's blog today was telling especially how Gen X are the only ones going to movie theaters. Brands know who they need to target and we can make a difference with millenials while engaging them on platforms they use most.

Hello! www.runwaytv.com is a completely individualized 24/7 television station that our CEO has developed for the new digital age. We are now offering our IDS, Independent distribution System, to the general public. This is a 24/7 channel that you can program any and all video! Think of "youtube" that you control and get paid for.

Jonathan Kramer

Not sure what Runway TV has to do with the subject matter since it seems focused on fashion but I appreciate knowing about it. I guess the real question is how well it will integrate with social media, interactive, gaming and other platforms.
