About Susanne
I have been working in the theatre for many years and now writing and directing my own films. I'm Swedish and live in Taiwan. I love mythology, history and philosophy. My dream is to direct a movie in India.
When I was a child, making movies seemed like something impossible to do. Most movies were made in far away big cities like London or LA. So I was never interested in the film industry.
But! Nowadays everyone everywhere can make movies! And all kind of movies are made and streamed everywhere! LOVE it!!!
I have made four short films since 2018 and they have screened at about 80 film festivals worldwide. 27 awards and 35 nominations. Mostly B festivals, arranged by other filmmakers all over the world. So I'm using the festivals as a way to network. To learn to know filmmakers in other countries and to know how the film industry works worldwide.
At Stage 32, I especially would like to connect with filmmakers and production companies in India. It's my dream to one day go to India and work on a film production. India has such a big and interesting film industry and so much culture. And food! I'm vegetarian and love to eat Palak Paneer!
Unique traits: My teams most of the time say that I'm a good team worker. I grew up in a family with many artists so it's more of a life style to me. I don't care about who is successful or famous, for me kindness, joy and creativity are the most important.

Ghostlove (
2018 - 2019 )
Film (short) by Love Ghost Films (Drama) Writer/Director/Producer Ghostlove was filmed in my neighborhood in Taipei. Has screened at 72 film festivals worldwide, was nominated many times and has won many awards. I was inspired by Kurosawa who said that the scenery is also a character. I wanted the park and the dancing people in it to represent love and loyalty. Still lots to learn! Must keep making movies! -
Love Ghost (

Film (short) by Love Ghost Films Writer/Director/Producer Love Ghost was first screened at a small arty festival in Oregon, Portland. And after that, it was accepted by two film schools(Thessaloniki and Kolkata) who had their own small festivals. The screenplay is based on a theatre play that I wrote and directed in Paris, 2004. -

Theater by Jerry Fang, Apple Theatre The Professor, Tour Producer In 1999, Apple Theatre in Taipei went on a tour to Sweden and performed in my home city Gothenburg. It was the first time ever a Taiwanese theatre performed in Sweden. I acted in the production and also helped to produce and arrange our tour -

Commercial by Taipei production company Young girl at the beach I have done a lot of different commercials during the years. When I was young, I felt quite uncomfortable to often be made to look like a stereotype. Nowadays, I sometimes act in Taiwanese TV or internet commercials and my roles are often middle aged businesses women promoting tech stuff. I like that much better! -

Film by Poul Nesgaard, DR, Danish National Television Susanne A TV movie that was sent in Denmark and Sweden. It won Best TV film in Denmark in 1985. Poul Nesgaard is a Danish Writer and Director who also has been Principal for the Danish National Film School in Copenhagen, Denmark for many years.
