About Virginia

I've always wanted to write screenplays but life got in the way. I've given up my day job so I can pursue my dream, "For it is never too late to be who you might have been." My screenplay "Finding Joy" has had some terrific coverage and placed well in several major contests. I'm hoping to find an agent to represent me.

Unique traits: I'm a go-getter. I won the Governor General's medal as the most outstanding student at college, the National Champion award for my work with the Canadian Cancer Society, volunteer of the year for starting a food bank in my community. I wrote and promoted a book that became a Canadian bestseller and helped raise $250,000 for charity. Whatever I take on, I truly give it my very best. I'm looking forward to giving screenwriting my very best go too!
