Sounds like a good idea. I'm a script writer looking to become director, and I can also act. If you need any support I'll be happy to offer it.
Hello James.
Very interesting film. Have yet to read a similar log line. Best success in pre-production.
This may be a bit premature, however, I'll give you some info when ready for post audio. i have been in post audio and music production for over 30 years as an engineer, producer, composer and sound designer/editor for feature films, documentaries, commercials and album projects. My scoring style is that of atmospheric and underscoring tones to support dialog and the visual imagery of the films. Not a John Williams type at all, but rather a avant guard use of classical instruments combined with digitally sampled synth sounds to create moods and emotions beyond melodies.
In sound design, i work closely with the composer (if not myself) to weave the score and sound design together to be a seamless audio experience for the viewer. Dialog editing/cleaning, SFX spotting, Foley and of course dubbing mixes in 2.0 thru 7.1. if you'd rather mix there, I always provide AAF files, separate audio stems and pro tools session files for your dubbing mixer and archivist.
Please let me know if i can be of service for this project or any other that might be a good collaborative fit.
Again, best success.

The topic of World War 3 movie has been in a few films in the past but do you think a film about WW3 would be marketable?
I know we live in hostile times, but maybe a War film, maybe brought on upon the World by an uprising of Nations, or imagine a War between Britain and the U.S.A brought because of greed (Like something of out the Command & Conquer games series?) ...
No Super war machines, but Soldiers equipped with weaponry and defense of a slightly post-modern time. Or super futuristic Human enhanced cyborgs?
*Do you think the concept would be a sensitive issue?
*How would your story go?
*Would it even be a good idea?
*Could it be a Marketable series even?
It would be incredibly marketable I think, but maybe that's just me who wants to make a film regarding WWIII :P
Good luck with the idea. I think it would be a great topic to work on. Hope to see your battle scenes in the cinemas one day David.
I think that if you are very careful with your research, you can pull a story from events that are happening right now that might end up causing WWIII (in the near future). You might have to dig into some conspiracy theorys to get some answers but I think the end result will be less fictional and much better.
