Hi, my name is Jesse Johnson, I make movies. I am interested in hearing about what's going on out there, who is making cutting edge work that isn't getting seen. Who is watching, or seeing cool, edgy material, artistic, avant grade, or just different - anything captivating, that isn't plastered all over the internet or controlled by some mega-sized corporation. Music, movies, acrobats, editing techniques, writing, acting, dance, craftsmen without a forum. Get in touch, or silently research me, either ways I don't mind, I am blessed with having been able to make an incredible living out of making movies. Currently in Post on a very special feature project and directing music videos. In between stunt coordinating a TV show, that works me two or three days a week. Jesse V. Johnson. Los Angeles, CA.
Hello, Jesse, My name is Pamela M Hebert. I wrote, illustrated, published, and wrote an accompanying screenplay (in Final Draft with a hollywood writers help for $$$) entitled "Elliot Finley's Jus' Plain Ole Daisy" (www.oakcourtpress.com)/script entitled "The Inexplicable Events of Elliot Finley." Do you know of anyone (including yourself) who can introduce my tale to a producer/film company interested in a (mildly dark) young people's tale (does appeal to the elders as well, much like "Once upon a Time") who can do a little bit of infusing CGi? I seek representation, someone connected to Paramount, Disney, Lion's Gate, Dreamworks, Pixar, et.al.; someone able to have the time and wherewithall to read and envision this wonderful tale that will be awesome on screen. I googled "Jus' Plain Ole Daisy" and visited the amazon.com site, and search for used books, and was astonished that one of these independent bookstores had it for sale for $500.00. It has since come down a bit, but I occasionally see these independents selling my book for unbelievable prices that I dont understand (and wouldn't mind an explanation). It has circulated the globe now. All my books are signed; I have seen it for sale in the UK, Japan, Australia, etc., but it's the task of getting representation and a hand over the Hollywood wall that I am now in need of help with. Thanks in advance, Pamela Mokihana
