About Chris

I've been writing since the late 1980s. Short stories and a novel at first, nothing of any quality, nothing published. But you have to start somewhere. My first screenplay was based on one of my short stories, nothing to brag about, but I was hooked on the format. I turned to "what I know" for my next script, Reasonably Crazy (I'm a psychologist), and lo and behold I won first place in a contest. I have written a handful of scripts since; stories about reconciliation, an action adventure, even a riff on the Wizard of Oz. Presently (January 2015) I am working on a television pilot for a rivalry series akin to the Hatfields & McCoys. I am always revisiting scripts after I get coverage.

Unique traits: As a psychologist I tend to specialize in unique characters, some pathological, some eccentric, some just out of the ordinary.
