About Mike

Mike is an independent filmmaker and owner of Parquin Lane Productions Ltd. He is a graduate of the Raindance Postgraduate programme in film (MA) and is presently an applicant for doctoral research at the University of Birmingham (UK).

Mike's specialty is the neuroscience and cognitive science of film with a focus on visual storytelling. He is currently developing a course on visual storytelling and plans to explore mentoring and, potentially supervising, at the postgraduate level.

Mike would be delighted to partner with other creatives in various roles. Specifically:
- Preproduction - developing the visual story
- Directing
- Cinematographer - Mike is equipped to shoot at any level up to DCI4K (raw), has a modest lighting platform, and is a steadicam owner operator
- Actor
