We're so excited! Our short film, IMPASSE, is 40% funded. What makes the project so unique is it literally was born on Twitter. I was in a coffeehouse one day and tweeted out a couple's argument. People were glued to their Twitter feeds, wanting to know what happened. From 140 character tweets to a short film. Plus the majority of our crew/cast are from Twitter...and around the world. We need a Stage32 person to represent! Right now, we still need an Orlando area DP. Ping me if you're interested. Also, if any of you feel so inclined, would you please share the kickstarter link with your friends: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bekemeyer/impasse Thank you!
The crowdfunding for our short film, IMPASSE, has started! In two hours, we have over $600. I'm deeply humbled by the support of our online community. You all rock! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1272831165/impasse
Here are the original tweets. They'll truly show you the tone of the film. Enjoy! http://jeannevb.com/the-tweets-the-birth-of-impasse/

I'm pimping Stage 32 in this week's Script Mag Balls of Steel column... head over and show the love for the amazing community we have here! http://www.scriptmag.com/features/balls-of-steel-the-social-media-stage
Curt, I love what you and Rich have done here. Such an amazing community. I'm all about paying it forward. Can't wait to have a drink with you!
Hi Jeanne-
This may be a bit premature, however, I'll give you some info when ready for post audio. i have been in post audio and music production for over 30 years as an engineer, producer, composer and sound designer/editor for feature films, documentaries, commercials and album projects.
In sound design, i work closely with the composer (if not myself) to weave the score and sound design together to be a seamless audio experience for the viewer. Dialog editing/cleaning, SFX spotting, Foley and of course dubbing mixes in 2.0 thru 7.1. if you'd rather mix there, I always provide AAF files, separate audio stems and pro tools session files for your dubbing mixer and archivist, Please let me know if i can be of service for this project or any other that might be a good collaborative fit.
Again, best success.

Hey J...be sure to post this in the Projects section as well!
Thanks, Jim... and thank, RB... as always, you have my back :)
Always...
Same here. good luck with kickstart. i will tell at least 1,000 of my production buds to donate. ;-)
Cool. Reminds me of one time I went to a coffee shop. The lady who sat down at the table next to me began to berate her companion: "You always do what PHYLLIS wants, you never think of anyone but Phyllis, you act like only Phyllis matters..." It's a weird feeling to have strangers abuse your name while sitting that close to you.
I sat there quietly sipping my coffee, but I bet the poor guy being chided felt a lot worse. Good luck with your film.
Jim, 1000 is a good start ;)
Phyllis, I write in a coffeeshop three days a week. You can't imagine what I've seen. Great fodder for stories. The safety of anonymity.
