It's Introduce Yourself Weekend on Stage 32! Who are you? What have you been working on? We want to know! Head over to the Introduce Yourself Lounge and network with your fellow creatives - you never know when you'll make a connection that will change your career!
Very often we'll receive emails or posts here at Stage 32 from members who are interested in learning how to best use the network. Most of the time, they're looking for the best way to stand out for a job opportunity, how to draw attention to their brand or work, or simply how to put best networking practices to use.
Whenever we receive this kind of correspondence, there's always one thing we look at before answering: the user's profile page. 90% of the time (conservatively), the user has either incomplete biographical information and/or media uploaded or none at all (more often than you would think).
Completing your profile (truthfully) showcases your accomplishments, dreams, skills and work. It gives a person interested enough to visit your profile an instant picture of who you are and what you're all about. As I've stated many times, in a poll we conducted with people who have hired a Stage 32 member for a project or job, 91% listed "a comprehensive profile" as the number one factor in making their decision.
Today, in our continuing roll out of Stage 32 3.0, we are proud to introduce our new Profile page. We've made it easier than ever to showcase your biographical information, credits, awards, resumes, headshots, reels, audio clips and so much more.
Now there's literally no excuse not to get your best face out there for the world to see. Remember, you never get a second chance at a first impression.
