Happy Sunday Creative Army!

Have you had a creative weekend so far? I have some content here for you that is sure to get the creative juices flowing, so grab your coffee and let's dive in.

First up, our friends over at Studio Binder have put together an amazing video exploring the unique and expressive works of Tim Burton. This video focuses on how Burton builds unique worlds through set design, art direction, and production design. You will see examples from Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Big Fish, Edward Scissorhands, and more.

Next up, In Depth Cine has put together a video essay about the cinematography, lighting, and colors of HBO's Emmy-Winning Euphoria. Specifically, this video hones in on how you can use light and color to illustrate emotion to your audience. This essay describes how Euphoria achieved its style and visual tone from script to screen.

Mr Burton has created fascinating settings! One of my favorites is "Sleepy Hollow". I love that dark, gothic and visually rich world. So! It's time to adjust my internal emotional color temperature to warm 1850 K (sunrise) by having an additional bowl of miracle juice. Have a wonderful almost December.
