Coffee & Content - What Is a Line Producer? [The Key Role of Line Producers] & Pitching and Pre-Production: Crash Course Film Production #2

Good Morning, Creative Army!

I love this part of my Sunday morning. I often pour over the trades, sip my fresh brewed bean, and search to find different videos that educate and inspire our creative crew here on Stage 32. This morning, we're digging into the role of the producer and pitching.

First up, What Is a Line Producer? [The Key Role of Line Producers]. There are various producer roles on a film, and knowing who does what is mighty important. Line producers have a role that requires a strong desire to manage money and books. They basically manage the film's budget. Take a look at what their key role is, an how this role might fit you.

Right behind it follows a video called Pitching and Pre-Production: Crash Course Film Production #2. We offer pitch sessions regularly here on the platform. And hearing the pitch perspective from another filmmaker is refreshing. If you're looking for a crash course in how to pitch a film and then what it takes to move into the pre-production phase, take a watch and tell us what you think.

Please take a moment to share this video with those you think will appreciate and glean from it. We always appreciate the shares that bring our creative giving back full circle. The more we give, the more growth we see in our Creative Army.

Thanks, all.

RB

Thanks for sharing RB! The pitch video is perfectly timed as we prepare for AFM. It refreshed me on a couple of points such that I jotted down a page of notes on a particular aspect of our nearly-completed pitch deck. I would venture to say that we are never truly ready, we just reach a point where we Do It!

Ah, making that decision to do it is the one that puts you ahead of the pack.  So many wait for perfect instead of just forging forward.  Appreciate your post, my friend.
