Olga Lesnova is an independent producer, collaborating with studios in Hollywood, as well as production companies in Europe, Australia, US and Asia.
For over a decade she has been actively involved in international film projects. Olga's first full-length project as a co-producer was the movie "CHEF", directed by Jon Favreau, starring Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr., which had a budget of $11 million and grossed $48 million worldwide. It is also received the Audience Award at the Tribeca Festival (TRIBECA), founded by Robert De Niro, in New York City, USA.
Continuing her career, Olga worked on the thriller "OUT OF THE SHADOWS," directed by Duncan MacLachlan, which was produced in Australia and distributed both in Australia and worldwide. She also produced the film "VIEW FROM ABOVE" in Nairobi, Kenya.
In addition to her production work, Olga frequently appears as a judge on judging panels and expert panels at events like PitchFest in the USA and Russia's ArtKino. Olga was invited to join the jury of the largest Russian short film festival, "ArtKino." She also served as a jury member at the Bridge of Arts Film Festival. Also Olga is an member of the prestigious Union of Cinematographers of Russia.
The other films, which Olga has produced, have won numerous festival awards. Her film "THE HEART" received accolades at festivals in Greece, Russia, and Ukraine, while the film "IDEAL" secured more than 20 awards at international festivals in the US and Europe.
One of her notable works is the author's drama "Trinity Sunday," directed by Chinese director Yang Ge, which participated in the main competition of the Kinotavr film festival festival in Sochi which was released in theaters. Her journey as a producer began with short films such as "The Heart," "Ivan," "Sashenka", "Boomerang" and “The Ideal“.
Olga graduated from Moscow State University, specializing in economic geography, Plekhanov Academy, focusing on strategic management and New York Film Academy (filmmaking). She has been a lecturer at Moscow's renowned Aleksandr Mitta Film School and Film School, Arka.
